Hi, I'm Coach Riccio, and I’m proud to be a Physical Education teacher at West Boynton Middle School. I’ve been teaching P.E. in Palm Beach County for six years and have loved every moment of it. Originally from Long Island, New York, I moved to sunny South Florida in 2019. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland, where I was actively involved in athletics as both a club gymnast and an NCAA diver.
Staying active has always been a central part of my life, and I truly enjoy sharing that passion with young athletes. Since 2004, I’ve had the privilege of coaching multiple sports, and nothing excites me more than watching athletes develop their skills, gain confidence, and grow throughout the season. Their progress is what motivates me as a coach every single day.
During the current school year, I’ve served as the head coach for the WBMS Softball team, and as a conditioning coach for both the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams, as well as the boys’ baseball team. I’ve also had the honor of coaching Track & Field—serving as a head coach at West Boynton Middle School for both the 2024 and 2025 seasons, and as an assistant coach at Park Vista High School during the 2024 season.
I’m excited to continue this journey with our Track & Field team and look forward to helping a new group of athletes discover their strengths, push their limits, and enjoy the thrill of competing.

Hi, I’m Marcela Mendoza! I’ve spent over 21 years as a Physical Education teacher, with 19 of those years dedicated to working with elementary students. My love for sports started early—I was a high school track athlete, and that passion led me to the University of Florida, where I earned a degree in Athletic Training. I always knew I wanted a career that kept me close to sports and health.
Becoming a mom changed my path a bit, but it also opened up something incredible—I discovered how much I love teaching and helping young athletes grow. That journey led me to coaching, and I’m proud to be the head coach for the girls' track team at WBMS, a role I’ve held since the 2023 season. I’ve also had the chance to coach Cross Country and Track at Park Vista High School as an assistant.
For me, coaching is about so much more than winning. It’s about watching kids step onto the track with little experience and seeing them leave with confidence, skills, and a sense of pride. Nothing beats watching their faces light up when they achieve something they didn’t think they could. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and coaching is my way of giving back.

Hi, I’m Coach Pelliccio and I’ve been a Palm Beach County teacher since 2004. I have 20 years of experience teaching kindergarten and first grade and love helping young students learn. This is my second year as a Physical Education teacher at Sunset Palms Elementary School.
I love encouraging kids to stay active, try their best, and have fun while building healthy habits. With 18 years of dance experience, three years as a certified dance teacher, a love of CrossFit, and experience completing multiple 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and two full marathons, I aim to help students build confidence, coordination, and a positive attitude toward fitness—one step, jump, and smile at a time.

Hi, I’m Coach Hubbard.
I’ve always believed that kids don’t just need basic instructors. They need people who truly see them like we do here at Fearless. Growing up, sports were never just about winning for me. They were about confidence, discipline, and what happens when someone believes in you before you fully believe in yourself.
That belief is why I volunteer as a track coach. Track has a unique way of revealing who you are. You can’t fake effort. You can’t hide from challenges. Every lap is an opportunity to push past a limit you didn’t think you could beat, and I love helping kids experience that moment.
One of my favorite things to witness is the shift. A kid starts out unsure, maybe even nervous to line up. Then, week by week, something changes. They stand taller. They run harder. They begin to realize they are capable of more than they ever imagined. That moment never gets old.
I coach because I believe today’s kids become tomorrow’s leaders. If I can play even a small role in helping them build confidence, courage, and a love for doing hard things, then I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be on the track, cheering them on.
If you want a slightly more playful version or one trimmed down for a website or flyer, say the word and I’ll tighten it up.
